Bio
I grew up in Stoneham, Massachusetts where I discovered my love for gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. After discovering cheerleading in 2003, I knew my life would be changed forever. I was instantly drawn to the intensity and passion in the industry; it matched my own hard work, drive, and determination. I started my cheerleading career on Celebrity Cheer Large Coed. This is where I discovered how cheerleading has touched so many different people from all over the world. I began making friends and connections all over the country and fell in love with how cheerleading provides a sense of community and safe space for those participating in the sport.
The next part of my journey took me to dream team in Miami Florida, The Top Gun Allstars, Large Coed in 2005. This experience is where both my professional and personal adult life values, began to form both on and off the mat. While in Miami, I became a staff member of the Cheerleaders Of America (COA) staff and began traveling around the country instructing camps. I also continued my passion for coaching gymnastics in North Miami Beach.
In 2007, I decided to shift my focus to completing my education and relocated to Columbus, Ohio Where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Business Management at The Ohio State University. While living in Columbus, I began my coaching journey in the Allstar cheerleading industry. This is also where I began to discover my passion and talent for the behind the scenes work of choreographing winning routines. I started with section work and clean ups, helping my own teams as well as other local teams, make huge jumps in competition scores from one competition to the next. After the first gym I coached for had to close due to the 2008 recession, I got a job offer coaching the Small Coed 5 World Silver medalist, ICE Lightning in Indiana for the 2008-2009 season. Once I completed my degree in 2011 from Ohio State, I was offered a job at the Maryland Twisters where I coached for 2 seasons, including the 2013 Summit Junior Coed 5 Champions, The Maryland Twister SuperCells! I decided to move home to the Boston Area once the 2013 season had finished, and after finding out I was going to become an uncle! I started coaching at my home gym, East Celebrity Elite, for 4 seasons, winning two more Summit Championships titles, coaching full time.
As the years of being a successful competitive all levels coach passed, I began to pick up more and more Choreography clients around the world, I even gained clients in Australia and Canada for choreography. In 2017, I decided to make my transition from working as a full time coach and a part time choreographer, to becoming a Choreographer full time. I was asked to join the Choreography Company, SpiritFX, where I earned the title of Choreographer of the Year. I then relocated in 2019 to Denver, Colorado, which prompted my switch to the largest and most decorated choreography companies in the industry, Next Level Choreography. I have spent the last 5 years learning and growing my craft, surrounded by the best people in the industry, who share the same drive and passion as myself. Over the years, I continue to thrive on the relationships this amazing industry has created for all of us, not only as a professional resource, but on a personal level filled with friendships I cherish. As each season passes, I still find myself building these amazing relationships with people that I can not imagine my life without, all while doing what I love by helping them on the road to success!
